Grit Art Central is an ever evolving space for creative exchange and possibility – in 2024 we will be offering tutored art classes in life drawing and drawing development, mentoring, creative networking, open call exhibitions, sketch club and commissions. Tutored Classes
Once a month we will be offering tutored classes in: Life Drawing on Saturdays with Grit artist and experience tutor Alisha Miller. Alisha has almost 30 years teaching experience and runs Art School Art Class at Caldecote Village Hall.
Art School Art Class presents – Life Drawing @ Grit Art Central Saturdays (once a month) 10am – 3pm £50
Tutored sessions with demonstrations and individual guidance – to learn, develop and explore life drawing of nude models. Easels, drawing boards and some materials provided – further details will be given upon enquiry and booking. All sessions will include quick drawings in pencils/pastel/charcoal – leading to a sustained posed in a selected medium, followed by group and tutor feedback. Tea/coffee provided – Lunch 12 – 1pm, please bring your own.
- Jan 20th – acrylics
- Feb 17th – watercolour paints and water based pencil crayons
- March 30th – mixed media
- April 20th – inks and bleach
- May 25th – collage and oil pastels
- June 22nd – chalk pastels
- July 27th – spray, stencil and postcards.
