Portrait of a Town

Portrait of a Town is a collaboration between GRIT’s resident artists and members of the public lending their faces and experiences to portraiture. We are slowly building up our collection – from market traders to local MC’s, retail staff to doctors – we are inviting people to sit and be painted at GAC or we can photograph you at work in or in your community setting.

Sitters are still needed, so get in touch for more information to see how you could be a part of this multi-discipline exhibition in autumn 2024.
